Alvin Perry was born May 6, 1965 to Lucille Perry and Ervin Mims.   Alvin passed away on September 7, 2109.  Alvin was preceded in death by his mother Lucille Perry, paternal grandparents Sylvester and Lucy Mims, his aunt Rudy Ellis, Four Uncles Willie Mims, Ben Mims, Clydell Mims, and his cousin Fred Henderson, Jr.

Alvin leaves behind his father Ervin Mims, former wife Lamelody Grant, two daughters Bismiallah Perry and Laquandra Grant, two sons Jihad Grant and ervin Grant, two sistersDoris ( Eddie ) Lewis and Jane Thomas, one brother Stanley Thomas and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
