Christeen Gordon-Wilkerson was born July 24, 1942 in
Bentonia, MS to Edward Gordon and Mozell Washington. Her
husband, M.C. Wilkerson preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memory her children: Sharon K. Small
(NY), Lucille Griffin (TX), Michael Charles Wilkerson (GA), Schella
Logan Hope (GA), Major Wilkerson (Antinina- GA) and Craig
Wilkerson (MS) son Curtis Dwayne Wilkerson, preceded her in
death; Granddaughter– LaKeshae Gordon-Garrett (Rowland-
MS) reared as a daughter. Sisters: Henrietta Owens (IL), Linnie
Gordon Hubbard (WA). Other siblings: Annie Laura Gordon,
James Edward Gordon and Gail Gordon
-Owens, all preceded
her in death. Sister-in-law: Yvonne Pelison (MS) and special
friends– Irene Burrell, Carolyn Slater (cousin) and Mary Taylor.
Chris enjoyed the pleasure of a host of other relatives and
friends, including sixteen grand-daughters, five grandsons and
many more family members too numerous to name but
forever cherished.
