OBITUARY
"He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." Revelation 21:4
Clifton Eugene Dixon was born to Jim Dixon Jr. and the late Ella Dora Bryant-Dixon on September 5, 1967 in Yazoo City, MS. He was the second child of six children.
At an early age, Clifton accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at Wilson Grove M.B. Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Thomas E. Ray Sr. After many years of doing him, Clifton found his way back to Christ and renewed his membership with Wilson Grove under the leadership of Dr. Rev. Roosevelt Barrett.
Clifton "Cliff" was educated in Madison County School District--East Flora High School "Mighty Hawks" Class of 1987.
Clifton "Cliff" meet Sharon Mosley and dated for 16 years. On July 9, 2005, Clifton married his friend and love, Sharon. To this union no children were born but he gained three (3) lovely daughters.
"Cliff" often referred to himself as "Clifton Eugene Roscoe Pekoe Soul Train Dixon." Later, he gave himself the nickname "HeathCliff."
Clifton "Cliff" "HeathCliff" enjoyed fishing, cooking, wrestling, and watching his favorite football team-Washington Redskins.
On Friday, September 11, 2020, Clifton yielded his spirit unto God and entered into eternal rest and peace.
Clifton "Cliff" "HeathCliff" leaves to cherish his memories: a loving and devoted wife: Sharon; three (3) loving daughters: Shaunnaqua Mosley, April Mosley, and Ashley (Christopher) Corentin; one (1) grandson: Christopher Corentin; his loving parents: Rev. Jim and Nellie Dixon; seven (7) sisters: Stephanie Dixon, M. Michelle Bacon, Rena (Harold) McWade, Sandra Singleton, Catina Rosell, Kendra Dixon, and Deborah Dixon; five (5) brothers: Bishop Stanley (Cynthia) Dixon, Jim (Tonisha) Dixon, Truman (Sybil) Dixon, Calvin Rosell, and Ross Lockridge; three (3) special sisters-in-law; five (5) brothers-in-law; a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends; a special cousin: LaSheika Hardman; and a special friend: John Pate.
Clifton "Cliff" "HeathCliff" was preceded in death by: his mother: Ella Dora Powell; step-father: Ross Powell; maternal grandparents: Mary and Richard Hudson, Bessie Bryant, H.L. Richardson; paternal grandparents: Hattie and James Hudson, Jim Sr. and Ruby Dixon; a brother: Alex Dixon; a special nephew: Kameron "Tu-Tu" Bacon.
