On the evening of May 29, 2021, at her home in Benton, Mississippi the gates of heaven opened up and God extended
a welcome hand unto Deloris. I heard the voice of Jesus say, Come unto me and rest, lay down thy weary one, lay
down thy head upon my breast.
Mrs. Deloris Jean Kyles was born in Yazoo City, MS on the day of January 15, 1956 to the late Eddie B. and Magnolia
Tabor Smith.
She confessed her faith in Christ at an early age and united with True Light Missionary Baptist Church under the
leadership of Reverend C. L. Murphy and later she join Bell Chapel Baptist Church in Benton, MS.
Deloris leaves to mourn her passing and cherish her loving memories one daughter Tyann Wells of Douglasvillie, GA
and Two sons Calvin J. Smith and Edward Jordan Kyles of Jackson, MS. Two step son Vedo Kyles (Renita) and Anthony
Nelson of Yazoo City, MS and one step daughter Linda Nelson of Yazoo City, MS. One brother Lee Andrew Smith (Mary
Ann) and two sister Gloria Allen of Phenix City, Alabama and Laura Lee Lewis of Yazoo City, MS. Eleven Grandchildren,
Eight Great Grandchildren, one Aunt Linnie B. White of Jackson, Mississippi. Six sister
