Obituary

Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will Fear no Evil,

Earnestine was born on April 27, 1941, to the late Tommie C. and Louella
Thomas.
"Stine" is what we called her accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at a very
early age and joined Morning Star M B Church under the leadership of the late
Reverend C. R. Rush. Her many duties consisted of being the Sunday school
teacher for the Youth and later the Secretary of Sunday school and of the Choir.
"Stine" loved singing in the choir and one of her favorite songs was "Search me
Lord". She expressed so much joy and excitement when she sang that song.
"Stine" performed all her duties with passion until her health began to fail.
She leaves to mourn her passing seven children; one preceded her in death.
Darlene Lancaster (Fort Washington), Ella Horton and Mary Williams all of
Yazoo, and Jacqueline Williams (deceased). Her husband, Willie Blue and with
this union; Joe Nathan Williams (Yolanda) Holmes Co., Yvonne Williams, Katrice
Young (Michael), Latricia Williams all of Yazoo; two brothers, Cherry Thomas and
Joe Thomas and two sisters Gloria Thomas all of Yazoo; and Emily Hall (Chicago);
eleven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews,
other relatives and friends.
Two sisters Elizabeth Thomas and Shirley Thomas; one brother Tommie Lee
Thomas, and a niece Christine Thomas, preceded her in death.
