Walter Maurice Anfield, Sr was born on July 30, 1959 to the union of Leotis Anfield and Gloria Davis
Anfield. To that union three sons and one daughter were born and were raised in Detroit, Michigan.
He dedicated his life to Christ at an early age. Walter made his transition on March 12, 2022.
Walter was united in holy Matrimony in 1992 to Linda Boddy Anfield, lasting 29 ½ years. He was
preceded in death by his father (Leotis) his sister (Lesyle) and son (Brennen) his grandmother Carrie
Davis.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Linda, mother Gloria, four daughters Kijanna, Angel (Tito),
Kawana (Aaron) and Brandie (Andre), one son Walter, Jr., Twelve Grandchildren and two great grands
along with his brothers Lee (Tanya) and Keith (Nita).
Walter attended Parochial schools. Upon graduation he worked wi

the PAL League. He loved sports, roller skating, he was alway
s
involved with sports with the neighborhood kids.
e later enlisted in the Army serving twenty years as a medic where h
e
received numerous awards and medals with an honorable discharge.
