Gennie Williams was born December 26, 1954 to the late Mrs. Mary
Mae Taylor Murphy and Willie Murphy. Who she will meet in heaven.
She was also preceded in death by four siblings, Freddie Taylor,
Dorothy Gene Hawkins, Jessie Taylor, Willie Earl Taylor and two
children, Roosevelt Cole III and Patricia Ann Granderson.
During her educational years, she attended Yazoo City High School in
Yazoo, MS.
Gennie confessed Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. She
was also a devoted member of Christian Grove.
She was a mother and grandmother to everybody. Her doors were
always open to anyone who wanted a good home cooked meal.
Gennie was full of fun, unconditional love, life, laughter and wisdom.
A life well spent in his service, Gennie was blessed with four children.
Left to cherish her memories are: two children, Cassius Cole and
Bertha Davis; five loving brothers, Rodger Murphy (Mary), Johnny
Taylor, William Taylor, Slyvester Taylor, S.A. Taylor (NC).
She also leaves ten grandchildren: Tiquandra Montson, Tineesha
Montson, Tymesha Montson, CaTrice Cole, Ishay Broomfield,
Christopher Broomfield, Miranck McCullum, DeWayne McCullum,
Starr Granderson, Akevin Jones and a host of great grands, nieces
and nephews.
