  • A Time to Be Born
    Henry Moore Jr. was born on November 29,
    1943 to the late Henry Moore Sr. and Creole
    (George) Ingram.
    A Time to Worship
    Henry was a deacon of the Bethlehem
    M.B. Church located in Thornton, MS under
    the leadership of Rev. Arthur Henderson.
    He was also a member of the Marcella
    Male Choir until his health begin to fail. He
    loved music and his family as well as his
    friends.
    A Time to Love
    Henry was joined in holy matrimony to the late
    Florine Mayze Moore and to this union 10
    children (2 deceased, Loretta and Dorothy
    Moore) were created. He also had one son to
    precede him in death, Smitty H. Hollins, one
    sister, Ethel Brown.
    A Time to Mourn
    Henry leaves behind to cherish his memories: 5
    daughters: Felicia & Zenester Moore of
    Greenwood, MS; Patrishane Gordon and
    Geraldine (Keith) Granderson of Mileston, MS,
    and Ann Pepper of Tchula, MS; 6 sons,
    Tremaine & Christopher "Micheal" Moore of
    Tchula, MS, Derrie Moore of Thornton, MS,
    Henry (Tonja) Mayze of Yazoo City, MS, Steven
  • Burns of Lexington, MS, Kendrick Hope of
    Peoria, IL, 4 sisters; Laura Young & Evelena
    Gri@n of Durant, MS, Flora Lee Jackson of
    Atlanta, GA, and a host of grandchildren, great
    grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and
    friends.
