JAMES "JUNE" NICKSON
August 29, 1949 ~ December 21, 2019
James "June" Nickson was born on August 29, 1949. He
passed away peacefully at the age of seventy on December
21, 2019.

He is preceded in death by his mother Ms. Mattie
Crawford, brother, Henry Nickson Sr., and his sister Ida
Prayer.

He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He
enjoyed farming, fishing, mechanic work, and spending
time with his kids and grandkids. He will be deeply missed by
his friends, family, and all who knew him.

James is survived by his wife, Josephine "Penny" Nickson
(Tchula, MS), daughters, Latora Nickson-Baker ( James
Baker)(Tchula, MS), Earlean Brooks (Joe Brooks Jr.)
(Jacksonville, FL), Nora Nixon (Tchula, MS), a son, James
Nixon Jr. (Dickson, TN), two brothers Jessie Nicholson, and
Jack Crawford (Tchula, MS), a sister, Nora Stevenson (New
York, NY), nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and
numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
