Jimmie Mae Andrews was born on January 16, 1971 to Jimmie
and Bertha Andrews. She was the fourth of eight children.
Jimmie confessed her life to Christ at an early age. Jimmie was
a faithful member and dedicated to the church choir at Greater
Senora MB Church. Jimmie enjoyed cooking, shopping, playing
spades and spending time with her family; especially her sisters
and grandchildren.
Jimmae attended Yazoo City High School and graduated in 1989
with honors. She was a dedicated employee at Warren-Yazoo
Behavioral Health for 14 years until her untimely death.
Jimmae and Tony Davis formed a union in 2010. Her greatest
source of happiness was her family and friends.
Jimmae is preceded in death by her mom; Bertha Andrews, her
grandmother; Ida Mae Jordan, two brothers; Roy Lee and
Steve Andrews and brother-in-law; Willie Guice.
Jimmie Mae leaves behind a great legacy; her husband; Mr.
Tony Davis, her loving father; Jimmie (Frances) Andrews, her
children; Earnest (Corine) Diew and Jamaal Diew; two
grandchildren— one she raised as her own since two months
old, R'Neisha Diew, and Ja'Kyria Diew; five sisters Bessie (Jeff)
Turner, Linda Guice, Nichole Andrews, Ida Andrews all of Yazoo
City, MS and Martha (Edward) Baker of Pfugerville, TX and a
host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, sisters-in law, brothers-
in-law, family and friends.
Jimmae will always be remembered by her beautiful smile
amongst her family and friends. They are sure to miss her great
cooking.
