John Earl Clayborn was born on July 13, 1962 to
George Clayborn and the late Annette Clayborn in
Silver City, MS.
He confessed his belief in Christ at an early age.
John was a devoted father and a very giving
individual. He loved his family and did all that he
could to help others. He truly had a heart of gold.
John departed this life on August 31, 2020. He was
preceded in death by his mother, Annette Clayborn.
and his brothers, George Clayborn, Jr., Alvin
Clayborn, and James Clayborn.
John leaves to cherish his memories, a loving father,
George Clayborn, Sr.; four sisters, Toni Richardson,
Maggie Clayborn, Patricia Clayborn, and Vonda Ree
Clayborn of Yazoo City, MS; three brothers, Calvin
Clayborn and George Clayborn of Chicago, IL; six
children, Juannessa Hines, DeJaujhn Thompson, Sadie
Williams, Roderick Knight, John Clayborn, Jr., and
Mateo Clayborn; four grandchildren, Ro'bree, Tanner,
and JaMari Williams of Greenwood, MS and Jahari
Hines of Chicago, IL; and a host of nieces, nephews,
cousins, and friends.
