Johnny "Skinny" Brown entered this world on December 4th
1956 in Yazoo county MS to the late Johnny "Snow" Brown
and Teretha Farris Brown Hampton.
Johnny accepted Jesus Christ as his savior at an early age and
was baptized at Chapel Hill M.B. Church under the leadership
of Pastor E.L. Williams. Johnny was a good person. What harm
he did was to himself.
Johnny was a member of Yazoo City High School Class of 1976.
He was on the basketball team and was a very good player.
He also had charm with the ladies. He was a smooth talker.
He never met a stranger whenever he went he always made
a friend.
In 1989 Johnny married Earlean King and no children were
born to this union. God knew that Johnny was tired so he
came to claim his own on Sunday October 17, 2021 at 9:25 pm
with his family at his bedside.
Johnny leaves to cherish memories of him a daughter, Kareeda
Allen of Yazoo City, a granddaughter Mikayla Hill of Yazoo
City, a grandson Cameron Hill of Jackson MS, one brother
Claude Farris Sr., two sisters Carolyn Farris & Mary Brown
Williams of Yazoo City, a niece Michelle Farris, three nephews
Claude Farris Jr. of Yazoo City, George William Jr. of Dallas
Texas, and Corey Montson of Yazoo City, MS.
Special friends Sheila Sanders, Curtis Blakes, and Corey &
Dorothy Ann Grayer all of Yazoo City, MS. Many cousins
and other relatives and friends.
