Katherine Williams was born on April 25, 1951 to
the late Videllia Williams Sanders and the late
Fullilove Tucker Sr. She departed her earthly home on
September 10, 2021 at her home. She was preceded in
death by her husband, L.C Carter Jr, her parents, her son
Michael Carter, and ten siblings: Eddie, Johnny, and Ethel
Dean Williams, Frankie Lee Douglas, Willie Grayer, Ceola
Phillips, Will Tucker, Tommy Sulton, Carey Tucker, and
Rachel Alexander. Katherine married the love of her life in 1968. To
this union, three children were born. Katherine
joined Temple Love M.B Church at an early age. She
spent most of her life as a homemaker taking care of her
family. Katherine was known to her family as Aunt Kal. Katherine leaves to cherish: her son, L.C Carter
III; her daughter, Teresa Carter; her loving
mother in law, Allene Carter; three grandchildren, L.C
Carter IV, Helena Sheree Carter, and Michael Robinson;
one great grandchild, L.C Carter V; three sisters: Helen
(Robert) Williams, Patricia Jones, Daisy Tucker; two
brothers: Henry Tucker and Fullilove (Linda) Tucker Jr;
five brothers in law: David (Donna) Carter; Bobby
(Gloria) Carter, John Earl (Joyce) Carter, Darrell Carter,
and Andre (Linda) Carter; five sisters in law: Rutha
(Carey) Williams, Dorothy Hill, Pamela (Jerry) Smith,
Patricia Carter, and Sherry (Jean) Carter; and two special
nephews she helped raised as her own: Cory and Bobby
Douglas. She leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins,
and friends.
