KERMICK JOHNSON JR.
June 17, 1964 - November 14, 2020
Kermick Johnson Jr., affectionately known as "Baby", was born June 17,
1964 to Kermick Johnson Sr. and Mary P. Hendrix Johnson.
At an early age, Kermick Jr. accepted Christ and was baptized under
Reverend E. L. Williams who was Pastor of Chapel Hill Missionary Baptist
Church, where Kermick Jr. attended for several years. He attended
Yazoo City High School as a proud member of the Class of 1982.
Kermick Jr., "Baby", grew up as a resident of Yazoo City, Mississippi,
where he spent the tenure of his life among most of his loving family
and faithful friends.
The cherished memory of Kermick Johnson Jr. will linger forever in the
hearts of His Parents: Kermick Johnson Sr. and Mary P. Hendrix Johnson;
His Two Children and Seven Grandchildren: Corey Calvin with three
grandchildren of Ridgeland, Mississippi, and Aji Smith (Landy) with four
grandchildren of Itasca, Illinois; His Four Brothers: Cornell Mays, Ricky
Hendrix, Kelvin Glenn Johnson, and Raymond K. Johnson (Stella); His
Aunts: Jursteen Hendrix Madyun of Los Angeles, California, Alberta
Whitten Matthews of Battle Creek, Michigan, and Ruby Hendrix; His
Uncles: E.L. Hendrix, Jerry Hendrix, Stanley Brooken of Chicago, Illinois,
and Willie Hendrix (Gwendolyn) of Peoria, Illinois; and His host of
Nephews, Nieces, Cousins, other relatives, and friends (Special Friend:
Sharry McCullum, also of Yazoo City, Mississippi).
