Lesterine Maple was born March 8, 1936 to the
late Hattie and Frank Kelly. She was a member
of Church of Christ in Jackson, Mississippi.
S he attended Saint Frances Catholic School in
Yazoo City and graduated in 1956.
S he worked at Hudspeth Rt. Center for 24 years
working with the mentally ill.
On July 9, 2020, she left her family to be with the
Lord.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories her
husband, David Maple; a daughter, Jacqueline
Cain, of Jackson, Mississippi; a son, Michael Maple; one
daughter-in-law, Olivia Maple; one sister, Ms. Dorothy
Murdock of Cleveland, Ohio; three brothers, Benjamin,
Emphrirum, Kelly, and Andrew Kelly; a host of
grandchildren; one great granddaughter; and a host of
nieces and nephews.
S he was preceded in death by her grandson, Butch
Eubanks.
