Lorina
Robinson
Jul 18, 1961 — Sep 12, 2022
Lorina Robinson was born on July 18, 1961 in Holly Bluff to Obbie Lee Woodson Robinson and Cecil David Robinson. She was the 5th of 9 children.
Lorina accepted Christ at an early age when she confessed her belief at Kashmere Gardens M. B. Church in Houston, TX. She received her education in the Houston Independent School District. She loved to cook and worked for several restaurant and fast food eateries in Houston,
TX and Yazoo City, MS until her health began to decline. Even though she stopped working, she still continued to cook for her family. For those of us who knew her, we know that she was a fun-loving person always ready for a good time. By the same token, she was fierce and feisty and just as ready for a good argument and/or a good fight. In her famous words to any conversation and/or argument..."Now How Bout That!" Come what may, she had genuine love for all of her family and many friends and especially her great granddaughter, Val as she called her.
Lorina was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil David Robinson and Obbie Lee Woodson Robinson; her brother, Sammy David Robinson; her sister, Jeanette Robinson; nephews, Sammie Lee Robinson and Brian Robinson; and a special brother-in-law, Willie Hubbard.
Lorina leaves to cherish her loving memories a loving and devoted daughter, Veronica Renee Starling (David "Mel" Starling"); 3
grandchildren, Donovan Starling, Quianna Harrington, and Fabiana Robinson; 1 great granddaughter, whom she adored dearly, Nevaeh Renee Landrews; 3 brothers, David Robinson (Sandra), Robert Robinson (Lynette) of Yazoo City, MS and Charles Robinson (Charlene) of Houston, TX; 3
sisters, Gloria Hubbard, Bobby Stuckey (Howard) of Yazoo City, MS and Sarah Robinson of Houston, TX; 1 uncle, Lee Smith; 2 special sisters-in-law, Marion Green and Renee Robinson; a special brother-in-law, Carlton Keyes, special friends; April Bryant and Bertha Miles; and a host
of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
