Margarette Dennis was born January 03, 1954 in Holly Bluff, MS to the late
Eugene Dennis, Sr. and Marie Martin Dennis. Two Sisters and a Brother pre-
ceded her in death, Bobbie Jean Coleman, Prince Ella Burroughs and Samuel
Leflore Dennis.
She accepted Christ as her personal Savior at Oak Grove M. B. Church under
the leadership of the late Rev. Shaffer. She later moved her membership to
Campbellsville M. B. Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Albert Fra-
zier. After retirement she relocated to Jackson, MS and joined First Hyde
Park M.B. Church under the leadership of Dr. Terry L. Davis.
She graduated from Campbellsville High School in May of 1972. She furthered her education at Coahoma Junior College and graduated with an Associate degree in Accounting in May of 1974. She then attended Alcorn State University and graduated with a Bachelor

s degree in Accounting in May of1976.
Upon completion of her education, she moved to Rochester, NY and was em-
ployed with the Countyof Monroe as an Accountant until retirement. After
retirement, she relocated to Jackson, MS. She was lovingly called Teadie by
her family and friends. She served as Sunday School Asst. Superintendent and
she sang in the Gospel Choir at First Hyde Park M. B. Church. She was
grounded in the word of God and she loved singing in the choir. She loved
and enjoyed her nieces and nephews. She created beautiful memories with
them throughout the years.
She leaves to cherish her memories: three sisters: Myrtis (Lonny) Kimble of
Rochester, NY, Lavon (Joe) Walls of Holly Bluff, MS and Dorothy Dennis of
Jackson, MS; three brothers: Eugene Dennis, Jr. and Jessie Dennis of Yazoo
City, MS and Arthur Dennis of Pine Bluff, AR; Fifteen Nieces and Nephews;
A Niece whom she shared as her daughter, Regina Young of Rochester, NY.
