MILTON E. MOORE

Milton E. Moore was born on March 2, 1950, in Vaughan, Mississippi to Abe Moore and Verna
Mae Stubblefield-Moore. Milton transitioned from this life on the morning of July 28, 2021,
surrounded by his son and daughter.
Milton graduated from St. Francis Catholic School in 1968. After high school, he attended Jackson
State University in Jackson, Mississippi. After attending Jackson State University, he worked for
BellSouth/AT&T over 30 years.
Milton married Marilyn Claybon Moore on November 26, 1984. To this union two children were
born; Rylyn Jamaal Moore of Nashville, TN and Milya Jaris Moore of Yazoo City, MS. Milton was a
sports lover of baseball, basketball, boxing, and football. Milton lived his life and will always be
remembered by his infectious smile and heart-felt laugh.
Milton was preceded in death by his parents, Abe Moore and Verna Mae Stubblefield-Moore, his
brother, Herman Moore and his sister, Geraldine Moore-Allen.
Milton E. Moore leaves to cherish his son, Rylyn Jamaal Moore of Nashville, TN; his daughter Milya
Jaris Moore of Yazoo City, MS; his grandson, Kolvin Claybon Moore of Yazoo City, MS; his brothers,

Charles Moore of Benton, MS and Michael Moore of Atlanta, GA; his sisters, Ellawean Moore-
Owens and Arean Moore-Jackson of New Orleans, LA. He also leaves to cherish a host of nieces

and nephews, and many cousins and other family members and friends.
