Obituary

Pearline "Lil Sister" Allen Deal was born December 12, 1945 in Yazoo City MS to the late Sam Allen Jr. and the late Louise Delaware Allen. She dedicated her life to Christ at an early age and joined St. Peter M.B. Church under the leadership of the late Reverend J.H. Parker. Pearline was a very dedicated, caring, faithful and loyal member and friend.
Growing up Pearline attended Yazoo City School System (No.2). She was married to Lee George Deal and to this union, six children were born.
Pearline was a faithful and dedicated member of the Yazoo Hometowner's Club (Yazoo City's Chapter), where she worked with the Social and Birthday Committee. Pearline also enjoyed being a part of the Prayer Hot Line Ministry, praying with and for others.
Pearline transitioned to her heavenly home early Monday morning August 9, 2021 surrounded by her daughter's Dorothy and Shikema Deal.
Pearline Deal was preceded in death by her parents Sam and Louise Allen; sisters, Vera Walton, Erma Walton, Velma Ellis; brothers, Spencer Barber, Elois Allen, Darnell Allen and her husband Lee George Deal.
Those remaining to cherish her memories are: two daughters, Dorothy Deal and Shikema Deal; four sons, S.L. Deal, C.L. Deal, Robert Deal and Kendell Deal; sisters, Yvonne Allen, Jeoline (Alvin) Ellis, Thelma Allen, Deloris (Robert) Ellis, Dianne (Darnell) Maxwell and Annette (Charles) Campbell; brothers, S.L. Allen and Freddie (Ella) Chism; fifteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
