Robert Smith's Obituary
Mr. Robert Paul Smith, son of the late Robert Smith,
and the late Pauline Rembert-Smith, was born August
8, 1966, in Yazoo City, MS. He was a graduate of Yazoo City
High School(1984), as well as a college graduate of
Mississippi Valley State University(1994).
Robert, affectionately known as "RaPaul", loved to cook,
and bake for his family. He greatly loved all of his
nieces, and nephews, and would sing, "Just What Makes That
Little Ole Ant", and "Itsy Bitsy Spider", to them all. When he
wasn't spending time with his family, and capturing the
moments with pictures, he was diligently serving PERS as a
Computer Programmer for over 20 years. His laugh was
strong, and his smile was contagious. Both will be greatly
missed.
Robert goes to join his brother, the late Willie Smith
(2015), and his sister, the late Barbette Smith(2007), but
his beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of his
sisters: Gloria Smith (Chicago, IL), Abbie Pounds (Chicago,
IL), Paula Smith (Yazoo City, MS), Robin Smith (Yazoo City,
MS), Joan Gainwell (Yazoo City, MS), Tina Littleton
( Clinton, MS), Connie Stubbs (Clinton, MS), and a host of
nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and a great,
great nephew.
