A TIME TO BE BORN
Ronnie Green, Sr. was born April 23, 1950 in Yazoo
County, Mississippi to David and Hattie Green, whom
preceded him in death. He was the fourth of eleven
children. Five brothers and two sisters also preceded
him death.

A TIME TO LOVE
Ronnie confessed Christ at an early age and joined Mt.
Pleasant United Methodist Church in Vaughan,
Mississippi. He was wed to Ada and, to this union, six
children were born. He was a devoted father and
husband.

A TIME TO WORK
Ronnie found his niche in life as a farmer. He also
enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening.

A TIME TO MOURN
Ronnie departed this life on Friday, July 17, 2020 at
Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. He
leaves to cherish his memory a devoted and loving wife,
Ada; six children: Ronnie (Barbara) Green; Kenneth
(Yvonnie) Green; Tony (Shirley) Green; Joseph
(Lakesha) Green, Lenore (Patrick) Brookins, and Jeffrey
(Lakeisha) Green; four siblings: David Green (Shirley)
Charles Green, Gwendolyn (Henry) Williams and
Hubert Green; eighteen grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
