Obituary

Sandy Mae Anderson was born September 16, 1964 she is the ninth of
thirteen children born to the Late Reverend Willie Morgan and Julie
Anderson in Tchula, MS. She received her formal education in Yazoo City
public school system a graduate of Yazoo City High School Class of 1982.
She confessed Christ at Coffelony M B Church in Mileston, MS as a child and
later united with Pleasant Green M B Church under the leadership of
Reverend Andrea Allen Rush, where she served faithfully until her death.
She was blessed with two amazing daughter Lowanda Anderson of Brandon,
MS, Kamila Allen (Marcus) of Yazoo City, MS. 5 grandchildren, Erik Anderson,
Ariquain Anderson of Brandon, MS, Marquain Allen, Markia Allen, Marcus
Allen, 1 greatgrandchild Amoria Allen all of Yazoo City, MS. 2 God Daughters
Candis Johnson and Mitrease Plunkett and a devoted and a loving friend
Sherry Johnson.
She was employed by the Yazoo City Municipal School District for 16 years
where she served faithfully until her health began to fail.
She enjoyed spending time with friends and family and was a faithful fan of
the New Orleans Saints "WHO DAT NATION"
She was preceded in death by her parents Reverend Willie Morgan and Julie
Anderson, Albert Carte Sr and Clotee Carter 7 brothers Robert, Earnest,
Jessie, and Donald Anderson. Roscoe, Archie and Tommy Carter 4 sisters; Ina
Rounds, Niece Smith, Cora Washington and Fanny Anderson.
She transitioned to her heavenly home on Sunday October 18, 2020 at her
home in Yazoo City with family by her side.
She leaves to cherish her memory two amazing daughter Lowanda
Anderson of Brandon, MS, Kamila Allen (Marcus) of Yazoo City, MS. 5
grandchildren, Erik Anderson, Ariquain Anderson of Brandon, MS , Marquain
Allen, Markia Allen, Marcus Allen Jr, 1 greatgrandchild A'moria Allen all of
Yazoo City, MS, 2 God Daughters Candis Johnson and Mitrease Plunkett ,
and a devoted and a loving friend Sherry Johnson, 6 Brothers Major (Willie
Mae) Anderson of Gains City, FL, Carols Reynolds and James Morgan of
Birmingham AL, Wilson and Willie Anderson of Milwaukee, WI, David Joe
Anderson, Jackson, MS Albert and Willie Carter of Yazoo City 3 sisters Jo Ann
(Alfred) Young Lake Providence, LA Angela Reynolds of Birmingham, AL and
Gloria Stewart Chicago, IL a special niece Kathy Vaughn , a host of nieces,
nephews, aunts uncles cousins and friends.
