Sylvester (O.B.) Taylor was born on November 20, 1948 to
the late Mrs. Mary Mae Taylor Murphy and Mr. Willie
Murphy with whom he will meet in heaven. He was also
preceded in death by his siblings, Wayne (R.L.) Taylor, Freddie
Taylor, Dorothy Jean Hawkins, Jesse James Taylor, Willie Earl
(Tip) Taylor, Gennie Mae Williams and his daughter Nancy
Taylor and his grandkids, Calvin Clayborn, Jr. and Tsavia
Bullock.
Sylvester confessed Christ as his lord and Savior at an early
age. His formal education was at Yazoo County Schools and
Yazoo City Schools.
Sylvester was a father, brother, husband and grandfather. He
loved fishing and hunting. He worked on Norway Plantation
for his entire life. He was filled with fun, life and laughter. He
also loved to work on automobiles. He loved keeping his hands
"busy and greasy". He was the man you took your cars too.
He leaves to cherish his memories his children, Annie
(Wiley) Bullock, Sylvester (Flolinders) Bullock, Curtis
(Erisena) Bullock, Jr., Josie Bullock Deau, Stephanie, Anthony,
Eric Taylor; his brothers, Johnny (Maryland) Taylor, Roger
(Mary) Murphy, S.A. (Bo) Taylor, William Taylor, and one half-
brother, Leslie Nelson, grandchildren, Preshana Talor, Ricky
Anthony, III, Sylbreya Bullock, Sylvester Bullock, Jr., Curtis
Bullock, III, Qcurtesia Bullock, Keshuna Taylor, Jocquez Taylor,
William Galloway, Jr., Kestacia Taylor, Jamarri Tate, Jayden
Jackson, Jonathan Williams Jerome Williams Cosha Wright,
Zenia Deau and a host of aunts uncles nieces, nephews and
friends.
