Willliam Hence Haralson Sr. was born March 14, 1928 in Bentonia, Mississippi, to the late Dee Quincy Sr. and Lydia Bunch Haralson. He departed this life December 27, 2020 at Baptist Medical Center in Yazoo City.

He met and married Venola Moore and to this union seven children were born.

William worked at Martin Manufacturing for 27 years and Magnavox for many years. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed driving Yazoo residents around town.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Dee Quincy Sr. and Lydia Haralson: wife, Venola Moore Haralson: brothers, Floyd "Buddy" Haralson, Dee Quincy Haralson Sr. and Varnado "Bo" Haralson, Sr.; sisters, Sally Williams, Annie Hubbard, Lucy Griffin, Frances Robinson, and Inola Haralson Hearn; one special granddaughter, Candace Haralson.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory: Children, Larry (Bettie) Haralson of Benton, MS; Gloria (William) Nelson of Yazoo City, MS; William (Minnie) Haralson Jr. of Clinton, MS; Carolyn Nelson of Yazoo City, MS; Daniel (Brenda) Haralson of Benton, MS; Roger (Edna) Haralson of Yazoo City, MS. Michael (Barbara) Haralson of Yazoo City, MS.; Special Niece, Mildred (Hugh) Brown; Special Nephews, Benjamin Moore and Lloyd (Gwen) Hubbard; 28 grand-children and host of  great grand-children, great-great grand-children, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
